Bringing Heroes to Brazoria County

Texas Wounded Warrior Project

The mission of Texas Wounded Warrior Project is to celebrate the heroism and sacrifices of veterans who have been wounded in service by hosting a weekend of honor and appreciation in Brazoria County.

As Americans, we are among the most fortunate individuals on earth. To live in a country with such freedom and liberty often goes unnoticed and underappreciated. We take for granted the sacrifices and struggles that occurred in order for us to prosper and live in convenience. In Brazoria County, we are setting aside a weekend to come together in appreciation, fun, and a little competition as we honor those who are so deserving of our respect. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team is comprised of competitive, athletic veterans who have lost limbs during their service to our country. They travel across the county in displays of courage and inspiration as they compete against local able-bodied teams. We will be celebrating this team at a gala on Friday evening and on Saturday, they will be playing in a game against a local team. We need your support and participation to make this a spectacular event, so come on out and let's have some fun for this great cause!
